    This oil painting still life is from fall 2019. I enjoyed selecting objects within a theme and carefully working to recreate the detail on the bandana, card, and book covers.

    Cooking Series

    These are pencil and watercolor on paper, painted in Spring 2022. I love both the act of cooking and enjoying the product. In these 3 small cooking series, I wanted to show the process of cooking different Asian foods and highlight some ingredients that make them unique.

I am a visual artist from Towson, Maryland. I've lived here my entire life and became interested in art in middle school. I love learning new mediums but my favorites are pencil and oil paint. My style has always been loose and sketchy no matter my medium. I specifically love to paint portraits, and my work is mainly representational and traditional. I hope to explore more creative and narrative elements in the future.

Grandparents

This is a collection of artwork featuring my maternal grandparents. I lost my grandmother in 2005, and I lost my grandfather in 2022. Two of these pieces are from before my grand father passed, and one is still in progress.

    • The secret to a long life
      The secret to a long life

      This painting was inspired by a story I've hear my mentor tell about his great uncle. He instated a rule where residents would all get one ketchup cup portion of ice cream with dinner at his nursing home, and he lived happily into his 90s. From November 2024.
