This is a commissioned work for a private garden in Baltimore, continuing with the theme of my sculpture series "Tale of Souls".

Found objects from the streets and alleyways of Hampden, forged together, painted and then set on fire! This particular sculpture was created while listening to Miles Davis's "Bitches Brew", hence the name. Or there was silence, which actually means the busy buzz of people/characters and traffic of Keswick road just outside of my window. Music and the sounds around me always dictate the direction of form.

***Breaking News: the cat who roams this garden has laid a few sacrificial offerings of dead mice at the feet of Miles...hhhmmm, my cat worshiped him as well. Have I created some sort of cat Idol?
