These installation images are from my recent two person show at the Baltimore Museum of Art. The center piece of my portion of the exhibit was a paper sculpture titled "Great Alaska Meta-Dripper." This sculpture is 14 feet wide and over 11 feet high. Paper “chambers” protrude off the wall and paper "tendrils" arch and twist forward and out into the museum space. Many of the paper layers, painted on both front and back sides, flip and weave into each other. This large construction took 4 months to complete. It was quite challenging to paint, cut, and assemble.
