Jacob Marrero (he/they) is a Baltimore based multidisciplinary artist from Miami, FL, whose work explores the intersections of queer ecology and drag culture.

Drawing from natural materials and the transformative aesthetics of drag, Jacob creates sculptural wearables, prints, and time-based media that examine adaptation, identity, and environmental kinship. Adaptation, in this context, takes shape in two distinct forms: displays of attraction or displays of protection, materializing through three avenues: Structural (External), Physiological (Internal), or Behavioral (Actions/Habits).
