Modulation is a painting composed of small movable pieces that together make up its whole. Exploring the nature of thought, Modulation questions the legitimacy and accuracy of the written word, shared through postcards. This is a mixed media piece composed of 4" x 6" and 3.75" x 5.5" wood panels and paper: individual screen prints, oil on panel, collagraph prints, cut paper, and collage. This was an ongoing piece, documented here in its first, second, and third (final) installment.
