I use the Impressionistic approach, and strive to create art that expresses the beauty of my subject with color and light My goal is to create works that glow while also painting in a representational style.

    this was painted during the 2 hour timed Paint Annapolis competition, "Dueling Brushes" 09. After I was already painting it a passerby mentioned that I was painting John F. Kennedy's sailboat (the one he was photographed sailing on several times) called "Manitou"...so that made it an even more interesting subject!
