manitou - oilthis was painted during the 2 hour timed Paint Annapolis competition, "Dueling Brushes" 09. After I was already painting it a passerby mentioned that I was painting John F. Kennedy's sailboat (the one he was photographed sailing on several times) called "Manitou"...so that made it an even more interesting subject! -
