An unaccompanied flute track from my most recent recording. The first tune is called Dave & Dan's, the second is called Dooish. Both were composed by Tommy Peoples, legendary fiddler and composer from Donegal in Northern Ireland. Mr. Peoples was very kind in dedicating the first tune to my friend Dave Cory and myself.
We recorded this CD in a weekend, live, without using separation, over dubbing, or headphones. A friend of my mother's was recently in Ireland and reported being surprised at how often our recording gets played on the radio over there. I was surprised to hear it as well.
