"Yellowman" is a two-character play by Dael Orlandersmith, and was a 2002 Pulitzer Prize finalist for Drama. The story focuses on the nuances of colorism in the Black community, particularly in the South, from the perspective of a dark skinned woman and a light skinned man. The audience watched their journey from childhood to college. The director did not want to specify a time period, but instead wanted to focus on color. I served as Costume Designer for this production, which performed at Arena Players Theater in October 2017.
