  • Some Presentement of Our Future
    Some Presentement of Our Future

Made of painted wood and epoxy resin, this piece is a meditation on hope. The railing (a replica of one on the North St bridge in Baltimore) is a symbol of Baltimore's industrial past. In some cultures, rabbits symbolize abundance, good luck, and the moon. In Christianity, they are tied to the celebration of Easter and its implications of sacrifice, redemption, and resurrection.

  • Murmurs of the Poor
    Murmurs of the Poor

Made of 3D printed PLA, Epoxy resin, and an inkjet print. The architectural drawing in this piece is the imagined footprint of King Solomon's temple. In his poem "King Solomon and the Ants" John Greenleaf Whittier points out

    "Happy must be the state

    Whose ruler heedeth more

    The murmurs of the poor

Than the flatteries of the great.

I think our politicians have forgotten to look after their people. When I made this, I was thinking of the ants, as the people rising up and taring down the temple.
