About Konstanty

Visual artist, musician, falconer. One of my most recent projects has been to visualize how birds see in a artistic way. Birds have tetrachromatic vision meaning they can also see UV rays; changing the spectrum of colors they are able to see in the world and on each other.

UV Birds

By shining UV light on some birds, new patterns and colors appear. These photos and digital paintings show those hidden patterns and helped me understand which areas are most effected by the UV.

Bird Vision

These are works where I have combined photography, digital drawing, and digital editing, to compare how birds view each other with how we see them. I use shapes to divide the worlds making it clear to the viewer which side is which.
