Trials and BlessingsUsing a combination of chaotic and refined mark making, I created a flowing image of core memories and important symbols that have defined my life up to this point. Everything from my curiosity as a child to falling in love for the first time to my struggles with the demon of alcohol and substance abuse, this piece is a true reflection of me.

I'm a self-taught fine artist based in Howard County, MD, who specializes in portraits and has experience working with pen, pencil, charcoal, watercolor, and acrylic. My inspiration comes from my own personal life experiences and focuses primarily on themes of duality and/or the contrast between two concepts and/or aspects of something.
