Marstokyo Ink Flow

Using saturated watercolor paper I drop transparent inks onto the surface and watch the ensuing flows create the picture. The process is dependent upon a keen knowledge of color mixing and a fearless approach to art making. This series is a vast departure from my previous work building small miniature theaters. That process was very thought out and deliberate in scale and creation where as this series involves a great element of serendipity. The pages are done within bound books, or on loose leaf watercolor paper.
