The Mockingbird is an art and music project based on the life and works of the Bard of Baltimore: Edgar Allan Poe.  It features creative responses to such seminal works as Descent into the Maelstrom, Man of the Crowd, The Isle of the Fay, William Wilson and others. Honoring America’s greatest Writer of the Romantic Period, this dark but lively eight song exploration into the id of Edgar Allan celebrates a new appreciation for Mr. Poe’s metaphysical mastery combined with the My own alchemical vision.

Though he does most of his work with digital media, Rob's design style is inspired by traditional silk screen, wood cuts and letter press techniques. Additionally, Rob overlays and blends layers in various ways in order to create three dimensional effects. He spent two years silk screening for HBI Graphics in Crofton, MD.

Pieces of Eight is a raucous eight song romp through the sandy shoals of the Eastern Seaboard and beyond. This lively recording is an exploration the of tales & legends of such notable pirate personalties as Blackbeard, Captain Kidd, Tommy Tew and several other salty dogs and will also include some special guest performances by other local Baltimore musicians. Also featured is the traditional sea ballad 'One Hundred Years on the Eastern Shore'. Historical and anecdotal material from the works 'The Pirates Pact', 'The Pirates Own Book', and 'Pirates of the Atlantic Coast' is referenced as well as several other sea-worthy sources.

Television Hill is currently putting the finishing touches on My Name's Hardin, a concept EP that takes a poke at the title of Bob Dylan's 1967 release John Wesley Harding. It's due out on Friends Records (FR008) in January of 2013. This six shot mostly biographical work is an exciting excursion through the life and lore of the fastest gun in the west, Wes Hardin and pays equal homage to Dylan's record and Johnny Cash's double concept album Sings the Ballads of the True West.

Drawing from Hardin's autobiography, his Letters from Prison and an assortment of other biographical and relevant material, Television Hill examines the Hardin of legend & song while serving up savory mesquite seasoned tales of pride, bloodlust and a cycle of violence that would ultimately consume the legendary Texas outlaw.

Cowtown caterwauling, gritty guitars and rolling hill country rhythms cleverly coalesce to re-create the cattle trails, jail cells and whiskey soaked saloons of the Reconstruction Era South in this half hour epic.The band's all-star line-up on this recording consists of Rob Wilson, Dave Heumann, David Bergander and Walker Teret with additional performances by Tony Drummond.

"The Headless Horseman of Furnace Hills & Other Tales" is an musical exploration of folktales and legends of Maryland. Rob Wilson revisits the ghost stories, songs and legends of the Chesapeake and surrounding areas, reworking each regional narrative to fit his own raucous brand of creative Americana. Themes include: The Goat Man of P.G. County, Black Aggie, The Headless Horseman of Furnace Hills, Puckam and other local anecdotes and legends.
