Blackwell, Ph.D. is an award winning professional fine artist and art educator with 49 years of experiences as a University Professor, Fine Artist, Arts Administrator, Curator and Art Gallery owner.  She earned her Doctorate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.  She earned her Masters Degreee from MICA, Maryland Institute College of Art.  And, she earned her Bachelors Degree from Morgan State University.
