Found objects from the streets and alleyways of Hampden, forged with human hair (my locks). Boiled in rum, painted, then set on fire.

fRum the "Tale of Souls" Collection: Primitive machines of the future become self aware after the demise of the human race...they begin to adopt human and animal characteristics.

A Journey Beyond Death...suddenly cut short by being pulled back to Life!

This is a commissioned work for a private garden in Baltimore, continuing with the theme of my sculpture series "Tale of Souls".

Found objects from the streets and alleyways of Hampden, forged together, painted and then set on fire! This particular sculpture was created while listening to Miles Davis's "Bitches Brew", hence the name. Or there was silence, which actually means the busy buzz of people/characters and traffic of Keswick road just outside of my window. Music and the sounds around me always dictate the direction of form.

***Breaking News: the cat who roams this garden has laid a few sacrificial offerings of dead mice at the feet of Miles...hhhmmm, my cat worshiped him as well. Have I created some sort of cat Idol?

Improvising with oneself both visually and musically. Twisting the music and the visual into abstract forms/sounds that appear somewhat Alien and Sexual.

A gray box possibly of alien origin appeared on the campus of Johns Hopkins University causing strange shifts in time in the surrounding area.

An expression of my anxiety about the distracted and very aggressive modern driver.
