After graduating Towson University, leslie Peace jubilee lived in New York for 15 years where she earned an M.A. in Philosophy from SUNY, Stony Brook and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College. While in New York, she conducted poetry workshops for young people and presented readings at various venues, including The Medicine Show and United Cerebral Palsy of New York.
