Yuli Sung was born in Seoul, South Korea.
She received her BFA from Hong-Ik University in Korea. 
She is attending the graduate program at the Maryland Institute College of Art. 
In her life, She faces something inside but outside simultaneously.
something important is trivial to someone.
everything looks perfect but is flawed even if just a little.
the stories regarded as real are fake.
someone regarded as a hero is an invader of other countries.
being apart from others but living together between a wall.
She confronts these binaries in everything.
So the boundaries which define everything around her become vague in her work.
Yuli Sung examines all that in different mediums: video, installation, photograph, and sculpture.
