Tomi Faison is an Artist and Filmmaker living and working in Baltimore, MD. Her work is interested in the ways images, politics, internet culture, and the unconscious form and influence contemporary subjectivity. January 2023 she had a solo exhibition at Smack Mellon in New York, and she’s shown in group shows and screenings in DC, Baltimore, Chicago, Bern, Istanbul, and Frankfurt. She is a founder of utopian, pirate, livestream project QuaranTV, founder and head curator of three-screen film festival Scrap Yard Screenings, and a regular contributor to Do Not Research where she organizes film screenings and artist critique groups.
