I am a Baltimore local with a BFA in imaging and electronic arts and have been working as a creative professional for over 30 years: Photographer/Photo Printer; Graphic Designer; a Sandblasting Glass Artist; Interactive Multimedia Designer and Art Director; Multimedia Creative Producer and Web Designer/Developer.
My current artwork consists of lyrical/narrative studies in emotional states utilizing dynamic, color-rich, textural scenes in which to tell my stories. For me, life is all about people... Making them smile, or cringe, or most importantly, making them think. The look on peoples' faces when they see or hear or feel something really cool for the first time.... I strive to make that happen as much as possible.
The near future hopefully bring a new chapter in my work... Building upon the success I've enjoyed over the past few years of creating imagery that has challenged and entertained people, I hope to take my gallery shows into 3 dimensional installations as well. I want to create physical and perhaps interactive environments with the same textural and chromatic richness as my recent print work. I am also actively working on developing workshops to teach some of my proprietary techniques and considering publishing books of my work and techniques.
