Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, J'kai embodies the essence of storytelling through his raw and authentic style of creativity. His upbringing in the urban parts of Salisbury, MD nurtured and groomed his "eye" from an early age. With the belief that he captures and magnifies the subject(s) behind the lens to give the client back the best them, he sees it as a form of therapy and unification through transparency. No filters, airbrushes and gimmicks. Real, raw, authentic and natural vibes that embody the subject in what they may be feeling or thinking. This is what allowed him to be a recipient in the spring of 2022 Shore Hatchery Competition headed by Presidents, Execs and CEO's to further launch his production career. He has also worked with The Maryland Food Bank and their FoodWorks program, directed multiple entrepreneur documentaries and featured in Canvas Rebel in just the beginning of his career. As of recent, he was just featured as an Art Collide finalist and featured in their virtual gallery.
