This is Noreen Smith's Life mantra.
Noreen, a jeweler by trade, gained a love of creating jewelry through a hobby she picked up working as a professional model.
Her creations were so well received she decided to turn her hobby into a business and began selling her jewelry to local boutique owners. She later expanded her business by selling adornments to boutiques in Washington DC and New York city, eventually opening a boutique of her own in her home town of Baltimore City in 2008.
Alongside her love for creating beautiful things, she also learned at a very young age that she enjoyed working with youth.
As an adult she worked as a After School Program Coordinator for four years before progressing through the ranks as a program coordinator.
She later began to develop youth and teen programs eventually becoming a Community School Site Coordinator for Baltimore City Public Schools until funding was lost for her position.
Noreen decided to bravely use it as an opportunity to embark on an entrepreneurial adventure to merge her two loves.
She now dedicates herself to activism through art.
