Nicole's profile

Nicole Dyer (b. 1991) paints to preserve memories she seeks, creates, or stumbles upon. Through painting she is able to revisit and honor details of her experiances. Dyer graduated from the Maryland Instititute College of Art in 2013 with a BFA in drawing. She has shown internationally (IE) as well as in Chicago (LVL 3), New York (Field Projects), Philadelphia (Savery Gallery) and California (Sessionspace). She enjoys traveling as part of her practice and spent a semester abroad in Ireland as well as taken a trip to Mexico. She recently completed a residency with ACRE in Wisconsin and is currently a resident at The Wassaic Project in Wassaic, NY. She is a recent recipient of an Elizabeth Greenshields Grant and is hoping for a trip to Berlin in the fall to continue painting her adventures.
