Luz Nicolas, is an actress whose work encompasses musical theater, contemporary and classical theater, television and cinema. She has performed in her country for 20 years. Though she began her career singing and dancing in musicals: such as "Grease"And "Hello Dolly", she shifted her focus to ultimately from classical theater. She played the character of Nerisa in Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice" and in Benavente's play "Los Intereses Creados” she was Colombina. Among other performances, Luz has appeared in two well­ known Lorca’s dramas, as Martirio in "The House of Bernarda Alba" and as one of the spinsters in "Doña Rosita the Spinster.
When she moved to United States, she joined Single Carrot Theatre in the Aldo Pantoja’s play: “The VIP” and since 2013 she is a permanent actress at Gala Hispanic Theatre in Washington DC (“Cabaret Barroque”, “The Young Lady from Tacna”, “Cancun” and “The Trials of a House”).
