The Emperor King Bishop | Solomon Selassie is a multifaceted interdisciplinary artist using the mediums of music, visual art, wearable art, film/photography, and curation to express conscious thought and subconscious feeling. Hailing from PG county, Selassie studied instrumental music and visual art in magnet schools up until finding himself at Morgan State University. Now Selassie is a performing/ recording artist (Emperor King Bishop, Temple Of Solomon, TrioDuo, Konjur Collective, etc) Fashion Designer, visual artist, business owner, and educator.

"Ascension" is the word Selassie uses to describe his main goal in terms of the arts. Selassie sees life and existence itself as a form of art, the art of The Most High. Studying Technique and history of the arts through scholarship was balanced with self taught and gorilla practices with it comes to the development of Selassie's practice.
