Keyma Flight exists as a spoken word artist and proudly stubborn Taurus born and raised in Baltimore, MD. She holds the titles of Hyperbole Slam Champion of 2019, Brave New Voices Champions with her team in 2018, and 3rd place in the Woman of the World Poetry Slam in both 2022 and 2024. Keyma's art has permeated the Baltimore scene for over a decade, making her one of the solidifying her as a pillar of the youth poetry scene of Baltimore. Along with other youth, she co-hosted and organized the open mic SaltPepperKetchup! from 2018-2020. Her words have been featured in partnership with Baltimore Center Stage, Teen Vogue, MICA, and many more outlets. Previously working as an administrative assistant, she now currently serves as DewMore Baltimore’s Youth Program Coordinator, running both the Baltimore City Youth Poetry Team and the Youth Poet Laurate program of Baltimore.
