Joe Kraemer is an award winning filmmaker, artist and writer. He received his M.F.A. in Film and Media Arts from Temple University and his B.F.A. in Film from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts. His films have exhibited at film festivals, art galleries, and conferences both nationally and internationally. He recently won a Regional Emmy Award for his 2023 film, It Takes Courage. His 2018 film, Just Another Day, reached over 14 million views on YouTube in the four years since its debut. He has published articles in academic journals such as the Journal of Film and Video and the Journal of Media Education. He is an Associate Professor with the Department of Electronic Media and Film at Towson University, where he teaches classes in directing and narrative filmmaking.
