Inna's profile
Inna Alesina was born in Kharkov, Ukraine, where she studied industrial design at the Ukrainian Institute of Industrial Arts and continued her studies at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Her interest in universal design and environmental issues led her to design products that have won numerous awards and wide recognition by the press. Her work is published in the compendium Dish: International Design for the Home, and it is featured in many design collections including Material Connexion.
Working in an array of projects such as furniture, consumer products, and performance wear, she always creates unique solutions and unexpected results. As faculty member in the Environmental Design Department at Maryland Institute College of Art, Alesina seeks to challenge and inspire young designers.
