Han Seung's profile

My name is Han, and I am a Jeweler, an Architect, and a Designer.

I run a small brand called Four Fields Jewelry where I make avante garde jewelry that is designed by adopting and adapting design elements from adjacent fields to create never seen before pieces. Being inspired from many things like architecture and industrial design, my handmade jewelry pieces convert curiosity into creativity. Turning comprehension of statements into wearable art.

I started working with metal when I was high school, forging old railroad spikes from Patapsco Park into tools using a charcoal grill and my dad’s leaf blower. Since then, I’ve studied architecture at RISD, and worked as an architect for 3 years in Baltimore. However, I never forgot my passion of metalworking, and have practiced both architecture and jewelry side by side. Overtime, I was able to create my own style of conceptual jewelry, and have recently made the decision to go full time into my artistic endeavor to showcase to the world my creations.

I am now driven with the desire to revolutionize the jewelry industry, a field that has seen little innovation since its inception. Jewelry is a permanent form of expression, a piece of an individual that will last through the ages. It is my hope to provide people with jewelry that can better capture their modern lifestyle and complexity.
