Ginny Perkins works as a commercial and fine arts photographer in Baltimore, MD. In 2010, after a career in graphic design, Ginny began exhibiting her fine art photography professionally. She has spent the last five years photographing newborns and their families. 

Ginny has shown her fine art photographs at the Maryland Federation of Art where she was accepted for three consecutive years into the national juried exhibition Focal Point, receiving an honorable mention in 2011. In 2012, Ginny was awarded an Individual Artist Award ($3,000 grant) from the Maryland State Council for the Arts.

Ginny received her BA in History from Princeton University and her BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. She worked for 15 years as a graphic designer, including a teaching position at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
