Emily Zinski is an actress, singer, recording artist, and teacher based in Annapolis, MD. She has performed onstage, on set, and in the studio from Baltimore to New York City, across the country, and around the world.

Theater is Emily's first love, and she has acted and sung in plays and musicals since the age of four. She earned her BFA in Musical Theater from Syracuse University and went on to study and perform with Broadway artists in New York City. Emily's theatrical credits include Chesapeake Shakespeare Company: A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Crachit, Mrs. Fezziwig, Nancy, Mrs. O'Leary); BLM Plaza: Working (Babe, Charlie, Roberta, Sharon); Weston Playhouse: Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel); Syracuse Stage: White Christmas (Tessie); Baltimore Actors’ Theatre: Oliver! (Ensemble); Pittsburgh Musical Theater: Les Misérables (Ensemble), Annie (Ensemble), A Christmas Carol (Ensemble). 

It wasn't long before Emily's passion for acting led to an interest in the film industry. She studied film & television in Los Angeles through Syracuse University, where she learned technique in acting for the camera as well as casting and production expertise from leaders in the industry. Emily performs in films, commercials, indie shorts, and webseries. Her credits include Feature Film: Go Away (Supporting); Indie Shorts: Halley's Comet (Lead), Emily Who Was Very Sad (Supporting), The Rising (Supporting); Webseries: Immature (Guest Star); Readings: He's The Manny (Supporting); Commercials: Motivated Mornings (Lead), AFSB (Lead). 

Emily's love of singing led her expand upon her classical background and explore new styles and genres, beginning a career in the music industry. A dynamic vocalist, Emily has mastered pop, rock, acoustic, jazz, and classical singing techniques. Her versatile voice can be heard on original albums, stages, cabarets, and major venues around the world. Emily has sung with AIDA Cruise Lines in Germany; Bachelor Boys Band in DC; and Vertigo Red, Shades of Blue Orchestra, and the Hank Entwisle Band in Baltimore. 

Emily’s acting and vocal experience guided her to Edge Studio, where she studied voiceover technique. She works as a professional voiceover artist, and can be heard in radio commercials, audiobooks, and eLearning courses.

Emily's varied and extensive experience developed a fondness and appreciation for teaching. Emily is currently employed with the AACPS Apex Arts Magnet program, where she teaches high school students in the art of performance. She produces and directs major student productions, and has developed new courses including Business for the Arts, where high school juniors learn foundational knowledge and skills which allow them not only to survive, but thrive in artistic careers when they enter the professional world.
