Dina's profile

Dina Kelberman is an artist living and working in Baltimore, MD.  Much of her work comes out of a tendency to meticulously collect and organize imagery from the commonplace surroundings of everyday life with a strong eye toward minimalist shape and bright color.  Her work invites viewers to closely examine the simple or seemingly insignificant in order to bring their own limitless associations.

Kelberman was recently invited to create original web-based pieces for the New Museum and The Marina Abramovic Institute and was included in the Montréal International Biennial of the Contemporary Image and International Biennial of Design in Saint-Etienne, France.  Her work has been written about in The New York Times, Art21 and NPR, and most recently in the books Known and Strange Things (Cole, 2016) and Wasting Time on the Internet (Goldsmith, 2016).
