Baker Artist Portfolios

My name is Christophe Katrib. I came to Baltimore from Beirut in 2013 on a Fulbright scholarship and got my MFA in Photographic and Electronic Media at the Maryland Institute College of Art in spring 2015. I have a BFA in filmmaking from the 'Insititut des Etudes Scèniques, Audiovisuelles et Cinematographiques' of the Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut. After over a decade of working professionally in multiple aspects of film production, I started building an art practice centered around photography, sound and video. I have been part of several international artist workshops and residencies and have shown work in the USA, Lebanon and Europe. I also write and perform my own music under the singer-songwriter alias Cristobal. I am currently teaching at MICA and George Washington University.
