An active artist in Plein Air events, focusing primarily on classical landscape, still life and portrait techniques. She applies her innate sense of vibrant color within the subjects of her choice. Catherine’s reverence for the landscape grows out of her deep appreciation of nature, the outdoors, and all that is beautiful. Catherine is also an avid skier and ski instructor. Snow is a most welcome weather condition in Homens exterior environment. In addition to skiing, Catherine arranges ski trips for groups around the world. Spending much time outdoors, Catherine discovers and reveres all kinds of weather, textures, and nuances in the natural world. Her art is inspired by a dedication to discovering beauty in the visible world to convey joy and wonder.
