Banshee Blackwell (They/Them) is a writer of long and short stories, as well as poems and scripts, living and working in Baltimore. They graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art, majoring in General Fine Arts and minoring in film. Their writing, though majority fiction, is a reflection of modern neurosis, panic, and dread, wanting to find meaning and tenderness through the chaos.
Their love of horror in any medium (and tendency to be or feel othered in real life) leads them to take a closer look at the concept of the “other” and write from an empathetic perspective.
