Welcome to a peek inside my restless mind. I write novels, plays, poetry, and creative nonfiction as a means of exploring my temporary role on the planet and how I may be of service to others. To that end, when I’m not crunching words for my own pleasure, I formally coach other writers seeking their own best path to writing and publishing a book; teach writing workshops to help writers hone their craft; and run creativity seminars to help multimedia artists manifest their creative life. My new book, Wrangling the Doubt Monster: Fighting Fears, Finding Inspiration, reflects my latest ruminations on how artists can manage self-doubts and continue creating. I renew my conversation about creativity and self-doubt on a weekly basis through Substack. 

Before becoming a full-time “creative,” I spent decades as a writer wearing various disguises, including that of journalist, speechwriter, and communications director.

Those were my Lois Lane years. Now I am Superwoman, and I love wearing the cape.
