About William

William Wright is a self taught British painter, living and working in Baltimore, Md.

He was inspired at an early age by the sculptures of Henry Moore in London and a school trip to see an exhibition of Salvador Dali.

Quote: "I liked that adults took these absurd things seriously."

William paints every day in a variety of styles with fondness for surrealism, expressionism and bright colours.
