Christine Buckton Tillman's picture
Working across media Christine Buckton Tillman makes work stemming from collected imagery and objects. She counts advertising, algorithms, color, celebrations, display, parties, print media, and Natural History Museums as her main influences. She has Midwest roots- earning  her BA at Coe College and her MFA from the University of Iowa. She lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland. Christine has been a member of the Drawing Center Viewing Program and received a MSAC Grant for her Works on Paper.... more

Chroma

Chroma is an ongoing collaboration between myself and Oakland Artist Lisa Solomon. We crowd source small colorful objects and arrange them by color.

The Tillmans keep a silkscreen studio in our basement. Printmaking has and will continue to be a part of my studio practice.
