Alana Ferguson (b. 1990 Brooklyn, NY) is an artist and art teacher living in Baltimore, MD.  She moved to Baltimore in 2014 to pursue an Master of Teaching degree at MICA. She now works at a public middle school in Baltimore. Her work explores relationships - between people, between parts of the mind and between materials. The work evokes physical and subjective characteristics of humans, sparking humor and discomfort, and embodying what we find alluring and perverse.
