L.A.'s profile
L.A. Crawford is a multidisciplinary artist currently based out of Baltimore Maryland. Found objects, construction materials, and casts of architectonic forms are assembled together to create an amalgamation of meaning and critic how contemporary culture adopts its lineage from historical forms of suppression. Crawford received their B.F.A. from University North Carolina at Greensboro in painting (2017) and M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Art from Maryland Institute College of Art (19). They have participated in residencies at the Siena Art Institute in Siena Italy, 77Art Fellowship in Vermont, and have worked with the Museum of Outdoor Arts on the immersive art installation, Natura Obscura.
