Taught art for 33 years in elementary schools in Anne Arundel County.
Have taken mosaic classes with Isaiah Zagar, Susan Crocenzi, Gila Rayberg, Rick Shelley, Bonnie Fitzgerald, Candace Clough, and Yulia Hanansen.
Teach mosaics in various venues, including AVAM and the Gem Cutters Guild. I also teach jewelry classes through the Baltimore Bead Society.
Have had a number of commissions, and have shown work at the Creative Alliance, the Howard County Center for the Arts, Agape Gallery at Salem Lutheran, and Perspectives Gallery in Ellicott City. Participated in a 3-month 2-person mosaic display at Andamento Gallery in Hampden, Baltimore. Worked with American Visionary Arts Museum team to create part of the exterior mosaic that is on the roof of the museum. My mosaic art is on the cover of the book, "Sparks of Wonder", by Becky Brooks and Erika Hewitt, and on an album of round singing by Joanne Hammil.
