Dina Kelberman is an artist living and working in Baltimore, MD.  Much of her work comes out of a tendency to meticulously collect and organize imagery from the commonplace surroundings of everyday life with a strong eye toward minimalist shape and bright color.  Her work invites viewers to closely examine the simple or seemingly insignificant in order to bring their own limitless associations.

    Website, Series of looping found images set to alter gradually to match the color temperature of the current daylight in the viewer's location.


    Go Outside was originally devised as a commission for the Idle Screenings screensaver exhibition series in 2014. At that time the piece used Twitter to feed a series of images that would match the sunlight for a particular day and location (June 1, Baltimore, MD).

    In 2015 the project was rebuilt for the Montreal International Biennial of the Contemporary Image as a website using geolocation to align with each viewer's current time and place.
