About Iraida

Iraida Poberezhnaya is a concert harpist, performed as a soloist and with
ensembles in Europe and the US, including the Stanislavski
Opera and Ballet Theatre (Moscow), Santa Barbara
(California) Symphony, Santa Maria (California)
Philharmonic, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Tulsa Opera.

She holds two doctoral degrees in harp, from the Peabody
and Moscow Conservatories. In Moscow she studied with

Romantic Period


This project includes compositions from Romantic Period. Some of works   are originally composed for the harp, some were arranged by harpists.
The program was performed for community concerts.
Two works are presented here, Variations on the Theme of Carnival of Venice by W. Posse and Impromptu by F. Chopin.
