Marjorie lives in what was her Grandfathers house on the same Carroll County farm where she grew up. She is married to Todd Laudeman, has two sons, Jay (26), Tommy ( 24) and two stepdaughters, Ary (28), India (25).
She studied photojournalism at New England College and Communications at San Francisco State University, eventually graduating Magna Cum Laude from Towson (State) University. Marjorie continued her study of Photography at the Maryland Institute College of Art and after 15 years out of the classroom, has gone back to MICA this Fall. Having learned in the wet darkroom, Marjorie is in awe of the creative possibilities in the digital darkroom.
Depression has been a mainstay of Marjories life and she finds in photography a way for her soul to communicate.
