South Moon Festival Maryland School for the Blind

Through Charm City Movement Arts Amy Kelly and Asa performed during the South
Moon festival held at the Maryland School for the Blind. Amy and Kelly first performed as an acrobatic duo. Later on Asa and Kelly dressed as a northern Lion did a traditional Chinese Lion dance along with Erica Saben under the instruction of Lin Junming. Also featured in the Show was Lin Junming juggling and Erica Saben on the tight wire. All performances were described live for the blind students by live interpreters. After the performance the children were encouraged to come to the stage and touch the lion costume. Many of them wished to pet the lion and sit on the lion's back. Kelly operated the lion head with Asa as the lions back half.
