About Dan

Dan Riesmeyer was born in Pittsburgh, PA where he began his life-long pursuit of drawing and painting as a student in Carnegie Mellon's Pre-College Program and the Pennsylvania Governers School for the Arts. He earned his B.F.A. in 2008 from the Maryland Institute College of Art where he studied with Mark Karnes and his M.F.A. in 2010 from the Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Art at Indiana University where he studied with Tim Kennedy and Bonnie Sklarski.
