Renée Rendine received her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art (1996) and an MFA in sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University (1999). She was a recipient of a Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fellowship in 2000 and was awarded a fellowship to study in Italy by the Atlantic Center for the Arts that same year.
