This concept image was for a video game project I was a lead on. Initially, I fillied a lot of roles and was tasked to take a character from start to finish in the pipeline. That meant, conceptual sketches and full color 2D renders, model sculpting, and rig application.
With this character I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could keep up with industry standard by producing sketches to a full color render in a matter of (3)hours. Surprisingly, I maintained my goal and then realized I could keep up with the big boys! This initially started as a pen sketch (because I like the feel of paper). Then it was scanned in and completely rendered in Photoshop.
