Here, I read my poem "The Station" from Say So at the ZYZZYVA + The Squaw Valley Community of Writers Bay Area Benefit to subsidize Dean Young's heart transplant. The readers were David Breskin, W.S. Di Piero, Joseph Di Prisco, Robert Hass, Brenda Hillman, Troy Jollimore, D.A. Powell, Octavio Solis, Michael Wiegers, and myself. Each poet read one of Dean Young's poems and one of their own. This reading took place in 2011.
