While in quarantine due to COVID restrictions, I cleaned my studio and found A LOT of paper. This discovery has led me to start experimenting with collage. My goal was primarily entertainment for myself while in quarantine and also to use the interesting papers that I have been saving over the years for a good purpose. In this piece I incorporated my son’s old math, physics, and chemistry class notes with patterned papers from my ancient paper stash to create his portrait.
