This photo was shot as a 35mm time exposure inside The Scent of Light, which was located at Stone Quarry Hill Art Park in upper New York. (2000-2006)
The red color comes from car flares set inside frying pans set behind the trees. Alone, I pushed the camera trigger, ran into the exposure and then hand held a 1 million watt flash light up to the reflective sculpture on top of the pole.The 'glory' effect resulted from clouds blowing in that night.

Each print is formatted uniquely. The first proof was shown in the Ace Gallery, NY and in London at Virgin headquarters and is now in the collection of the Everson Museum, Syracuse, NY.
